I’m Corey Popowski , a Brooklyn-based stand up comedian, filmmaker, and actor originally from Charleston, SC. I perform all around NYC and have created cult classic comedy shorts that have screened at festivals far and wide and have gained attention from the likes of NPR.

I was one of 10 people out of 400+ applicants accepted into the Writers' Assistant track of the Writers’ Guild of America East’s 2022 WGI Support Staff Training Program and I’ve also worked as a Writers’ Assistant on a limited series, a revisionist history Western, that is currently in development.
